BrightRoof Solar LP

BrightRoof Solar LP is a Limited Partnership fund established by CarbonFree Technology and Connor, Clark & Lunn Infrastructure.

BrightRoof was established in response to the Ontario government’s attractive Feed-In Tariff (FIT) program for renewable energy, with the express purpose of developing, owning and operating rooftop solar PV systems located in Ontario. The target size of the portfolio of systems is $100 million.

BrightRoof as your Tenant

If you are a building owner, BrightRoof will enter into a 20-year lease agreement with you and pay you rent for the use of your roof, in order to host a solar photovoltaic system. You pay nothing for the system, and the lease payments you will receive from BrightRoof represent additional building income from an otherwise unused space.

BrightRoof will own the solar modules and other equipment, and will sell the solar generated electricity to the Ontario Power Authority under a 20-year FIT contract. BrightRoof will earn a reliable stream of revenue and be a high-quality, long-term tenant.

Information about joint ownership options is avialable here.
